It's again been a while since my last post. Sadly this summer seems to be wasting away in the airsoft department. I can't even remember when the last Sunday skirmish took place.
I've naturally been scratching the itch by getting more gear, and yesterday during a dull moment I started playing around with some of the new stuff I got, and this is what came out of it.
The plate carrier is an ACM MBSS replica, the FastMags are also non-brand knock offs. They're also actually for 7.62 magazines, but AK mags won't fit in there right side up due to their large bottom plate. The much slimmer AR mags still fit in fine and the pouches had a very positive retention even with them. I'm not sure of the actual feasibility of this method. What are your thoughts? Could this actually be used or is this just silly derping?
Well, that's it for now. Hope to return shortly with actual tech content!
I think it could work if you shot the old US military way with your side to the enemy and rifle across the chest. But with the new style where you center your chest to your target? Not a chance
